Since the announcement of school closures in
the UK due to the Coronavirus outbreak, I’ve been fortunate to have been sent a comprehensive list of resources and ideas to keep kids learning.
I don’t know the original source sadly, but I’ve added in the links to make it easier and wanted to share all the details and include some of the books and activities we’ve been using for our after school homeschool that I‘ve shown on Instagram stories over the past couple of years.
There are some fantastic learning tools available online and to download, many of them free too. During isolation periods, we have tried to replicate a school day starting a little later in the morning and the breaking up subjects into hourly chunks and throwing in some Just Dance games, naps, baby activites with Ezra, chores and family time.
I hope you find this useful. I’d love hear about activties and resources you’ve found helpful and to be able to share these further. I’ll save some photos and post some to an Instagram highlight too as they come up.
Lots of love and virtual hugs to you all
